Rick Moranis describes 'very strange' return to acting for 'Spaceballs 2'
Rick Moranis is officially back, breaking a nearly 30-year acting retirement to reprise his role as Lord Dark Helmet in 'Spaceballs 2: The New One'. The comedy icon shot the sequel last fall, reuniting with co-stars from the 1987 original.
According to Variety, Moranis called the experience 'very strange', admitting he felt like he was 'in a time warp' on set. He was thrown for a loop stepping back in front of the camera after so long.
JoBlo reports that Moranis and co-star Daphne Zuniga, who is also returning as Princess Vespa, have broken down their comebacks for the long-awaited sequel to Mel Brooks' classic Star Wars spoof.
