Silent Hill Remake Targets 2027 Release With First Casting Leaked

The remake of the original Silent Hill appears to be targeting a 2027 launch, according to a new report.
IGN cites a leak from MP1ST which claims development on the project, code-named "Project Noise," began in 2022. The report alleges that two actors, Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew, have been cast in major roles.
Fritz has previously done work for video games including Battlefield 2042 and Wolfenstein 2, while Matthew is known for British television appearances. Per the report, their specific characters have not been confirmed.
The leak speculates the actors could be portraying key female characters from the 1999 horror classic, such as a law enforcement official, a medical worker, or a central villain. No actor has been linked to the role of protagonist Harry Mason.
As noted by IGN, this remake would be part of what Konami has described as a "second wave" of Silent Hill games.
