This news arrives just two days before Season 6 kicks off on September 16. The series has delivered a new season every year since 2022, a cadence that has made it Apple TV+'s longest-running drama.
According to a cast interview cited by MovieWeb, the plan is for Season 7 to arrive in 2027. The season will adapt Mick Herron's novel 'Bad Actors', with a plot centering on Jackson Lamb's team hunting a government mole.
As for the imminent Season 6, the team is on the run. A newly released preview also shows Sid Baker, played by Olivia Cooke, making a reappearance after her uncertain fate.
The espionage series stars Gary Oldman as the slovenly spymaster Jackson Lamb, leading a team of MI5 rejects. Season 6 begins its weekly rollout on Apple TV+ starting September 16.
