South Park Season 29 debuts as South America with Trump cameo
South Park is now South America, at least for the start of its 29th season. The premiere episode aired Wednesday night with a freshly updated theme song declaring "I'm goin' down to South America, have myself a time!"
According to Variety, the episode, titled "South American Biker Gangs," also featured a cameo appearance by Donald Trump. The plot followed Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny as they embraced e-bikes, only for their parents to form a rival biker gang.
The episode included a classic Kenny death, with his e-bike exploding. His demise reportedly united the town to ban e-bikes and sell "South America Strong" merchandise.
The name change is a direct parody of recent political moves. Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced the shift earlier this month, stating they were "inspired by the bravery and patriotism" of companies like Apple and Google. They also thanked Paramount, calling it a "Skydance Capitulation."
The show's social media accounts have continued the political jabs, including a recent post celebrating an Emmy win with a graphic of Trump with his pants down. This follows Season 28's storylines involving political figures like JD Vance and Pete Hegseth.
