Strange New Worlds drops a grim prophecy for Kirk that ties into a classic movie

A new episode of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds saw James Kirk facing more than just ghosts. According to TVLine, he boarded a haunted vessel and got a chilling prediction about his future child.

The prophecy is reportedly a direct setup for a major event that unfolds in one of the original Star Trek movies. The show seems to be weaving the character's established cinematic fate into its own timeline.

It's a clever bit of canon stitching for the prequel series, giving fans a dark glimpse of what's to come for the iconic captain.
