People are liking this latest season of the prequel series about Captain Pike's Enterprise, but they're definitely split. The humor and the cast's performances, especially Anson Mount's steadying presence as Pike, are the highlights that keep fans engaged. However, the story and its originality are getting a much more mixed reception, with some finding the plotlines a bit underwhelming. A vocal few are really frustrated with the pacing.
