IGN got hands-on with The Defiant, a story-driven single-player shooter set during the Second Sino-Japanese War. According to their preview, the game is promising a narrative-focused experience in a conflict rarely depicted in major video games.
The gritty first-person action appears to be trading bombastic set pieces for a more personal, grounded story from a part of history many players might not know.
