The Odyssey's 70mm IMAX Run Extended Due to Overwhelming Demand
Good news for cinephiles who missed out: you've got more time to catch Christopher Nolan's epic in its most immersive format. Per JoBlo, the completely sold-out 70mm IMAX run for 'The Odyssey' has been officially extended.
MovieWeb reports the extension comes after the film's record-breaking box office performance. The massive screens will keep showing the film until Sony's 'Resident Evil' reboot claims the premium slots in September.
So if you haven't experienced the film as it was 'meant to be seen,' the clock is still ticking, just a little slower.
