Thriller 'O Jacaré' Hunts Cash in Lisbon's Maze-Like Reboleira District
A frantic hunt for a hidden fortune is the core of the new Locarno-bound thriller, 'O Jacaré'. Per Variety, the film follows characters using any means necessary to track down 180,000 euros stashed deep within Lisbon's maze-like Reboleira neighborhood.
The Portuguese-Swiss writer-director Basil Da Cunha is behind the project, which aims to be a vibrant celebration of the district. Production is led by Thera Production from Switzerland, with co-producers Continue Walking in Portugal and RTS.
Low Light Films has now come aboard the project, which is set to compete at the prestigious Locarno Film Festival.
