Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie is his most violent film yet
Director Zach Cregger is known for gore in films like Barbarian, but he says his upcoming Resident Evil movie tops them all.
He told Empire the film is "definitely the most violent" thing he's ever made, adding that for this project, "You gotta go grotesque."
Per GameSpot, Cregger described it as a "gnarly" and "brutal" affair, promising a very bloody take on the video game franchise.
