Reactions to "All American" are pretty split, with more people feeling mixed than outright positive. The core fish-out-of-water story of a South Central football star navigating Beverly Hills life is getting criticized for feeling tired and unoriginal. While the acting and visuals are seen as decent, the story's execution is the main sticking point, and almost nobody in the cast is getting much love from the people talking about it.
