What people are saying
Updated nightlyPeople watch for the performances, with actors like Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, and Angela Bassett getting praise, and many miss Jessica Lange's presence. The anthology format is hit or miss, with seasons like Coven and Freak Show having fans while Murder House and Apocalypse left people cold. The main complaint is the writing, which a lot of people find messy and poorly paced, often blaming creator Ryan Murphy for the inconsistent story quality across its many seasons.
