The Real Review
People are into it for the wild, high-style horror and powerhouse acting, especially from Jessica Lange. The anthology format keeps things fresh, even if some seasons get slammed for messy, slow plots. It's a show that lives and dies by its cast, and when they click, like in "Coven," it's a blast, but creator Ryan Murphy's chaotic storytelling frustrates a vocal chunk of the audience.
