The real review
Subnautica 2's new co-op mode is a smash hit, with players loving the shared underwater survival and mystery. The story and graphics are fantastic, and the base-building is a highlight, but the gameplay loop gets a mixed reception and the difficulty can feel punishing. The real problem is performance — it's a buggy, crash-prone mess right now, especially on PC and Xbox, and people are furious with Unknown Worlds and its parent company Krafton over it.
