Beware Boiúna

The buzz is mostly mixed, with the main draw being the promise of a giant snake monster. People are excited about the visuals and the concept of a colossal ancient predator, Boiúna, attacking a medical mission in the Amazon. That said, reactions to the announced cast, especially Jessica Rothe and Kiana Madeira, are overwhelmingly negative based on these early looks, which is dragging down a lot of the anticipation. It feels like the idea works for some, but the faces attached to it don't.
