An arrogant but charismatic ladies' man finds his life of money, power and casual flings upended when he wakes up in a parallel world dominated by women.
This one's a toss-up that leaves people mostly unimpressed. The premise, where Sacha Baron Cohen's arrogant Damien Sachs wakes up in a female-dominated world, gets slammed as a tired, unoriginal story that's been done better before. The saving grace is the humor, which lands often enough, and the solid acting from the cast, particularly from Rosamund Pike as Alex Fox. But with Cohen's performance splitting viewers, the film feels like a decent joke in search of a better movie.
