Laurel always imagined her first kiss would be a fairy tale. Instead, that fantasy turns frightening when she's cursed with an ability to see the death of anyone she kisses. After a vision reveals her crush is doomed to die in a strange murder spree targeting her closest friends, she races to unmask the killer before the mystery becomes a massacre.

Mckenna Grace's lead performance is the main thing people are talking about with this supernatural teen mystery, but it's a mixed bag overall. Her character Laurel is trying to stop a killer targeting her friends before she sees their deaths come true, a premise that's fun but feels a bit predictable to most. The rest of the cast, including Arkira Chantaratananond as Poppy, doesn't leave much of an impression. It's a watchable thriller, but it leans heavily on its lead to hold it all together.
