Before release
Updated nightlyThe early buzz on "Vampire Carnival" is leaning positive, mainly on the strength of its creepy, stylish visuals in the trailers. That said, reactions to the cast reveal are a major sticking point. People are skeptical about most of the announced actors, with a lot of mentions for Jason Isaacs, Nell Verlaque, and Kieron Moore landing negatively. The central premise of a grieving girl getting drawn into a supernatural carnival also got some pushback for feeling overly familiar.
