Amazon's Fourth Wing show reportedly begins filming in Vancouver in April
A film and TV website that covers projects in British Columbia reports that the upcoming "Fourth Wing" adaptation for Amazon is about to start shooting.
According to Polygon, Hollywood North Buzz states production is scheduled to begin in Vancouver, Canada, on April 5, 2027. The filming window is reportedly set to last for seven months, concluding on November 8, 2027.
Amazon recently announced its lead cast, with Esther McGregor tapped to play Violet Sorrengail and Emilio Sakraya set to portray Xaden Riorson. The outlet notes that with a location and schedule now seemingly locked in, casting for other roles should be finalized soon.
With filming expected to wrap late in 2027, a release date in 2028 for the Prime Video series now appears likely. The show is based on the popular romantasy book series by author Rebecca Yarros.
