Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced sails past sales expectations
Ubisoft's high-seas remake is raking in gold doubloons. The publisher announced that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has already sold over 3.5 million copies, according to a new financial report cited by Eurogamer.
CEO Yves Guillemot says the game's performance "exceeded annual expectations" in its first two weeks alone. Per VGC, the company expects the remake to recoup its entire development cost this very quarter.
The numbers show a swift ascent, climbing from 2 million sales in its opening days to 3 million within a week, before hitting the 3.5 million mark. It seems players are more than ready to hoist the Jolly Roger and set sail again.
