Borderlands Franchise Surpasses 100 Million Units Sold

The Borderlands franchise has hit a colossal sales milestone. According to Push Square, publisher 2K Games announced the looter shooter series has sold over 100 million copies across all its games and platforms.

To celebrate, the publisher released a commemorative video. The announcement did not specify a breakdown of sales for individual titles within the series, which includes the mainline games and various spin-offs.

Push Square notes the milestone was marked with the release of a celebratory video, though no further details about the contents of that video were provided in the summary. The 100 million figure represents lifetime sales for the entire series.
