Walmart GTA 6 Pre-orders Will Include A Mystery 'Surprise' Bag

Retailer Walmart is trying to lure in customers with a little mystery for Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders. According to Kotaku, the store is offering what it calls a "surprise and delight bag" with the purchase of the upcoming game.

An image of the store page, captured by the deals account Nintendeals, shows the mention of the bonus. The contents are completely undescribed, leading to speculation it could be similar to snack-filled goodie bags Walmart has shipped with other pre-orders in the past.

Kotaku notes that this incentive may be an attempt to make physical pre-orders more appealing, as the game will not include a playable disc at launch. Buyers will receive a box with a download code and must install the full 210 GB game file.

The report adds that Walmart has had some recent issues fulfilling other video game pre-orders. For those seeking actual collectibles, Rockstar is separately selling a $400 collector's box that does not include the game itself.
