Cancelled Virtual Boy Games Zero Racers and D-Hopper Rescued for Nintendo Classics
Nintendo is digging deep into the archives for its retro service. Per Nintendo Life, two games originally cancelled for the infamous Virtual Boy headset are getting a second life on Nintendo Classics next week.
The titles are Zero Racers and D-Hopper (also known as Dragon Hopper). They are scheduled to join the subscription library on August 4, 2026.
This continues a pattern of regular updates to the Virtual Boy section of the service. Nintendo had previously announced it was reviving a title based on F-1 racing, which appears to be Zero Racers.
