Capcom Says Pragmata Sequel Looks Likely Thanks to Strong Sales

Good news for fans of Capcom's enigmatic sci-fi adventure: Pragmata is probably getting a second outing. The publisher itself has signaled a sequel is on the table, per statements reported by IGN and Eurogamer.

The push for a follow-up comes down to the numbers. According to the company's recent financial report, the game, which features the android character Diana, has sold 2.5 million units since its launch earlier this year. Capcom cited both these strong sales and the 'appeal' of its main character as key factors.

While its sales were notably outpaced by the 8 million units moved by Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata's performance was apparently impressive enough on its own to make a sequel a distinct possibility.
