Castlevania Belmont's Curse demo arrives October 1 with save transfer
Konami is giving players a taste of the next Castlevania before its release. The publisher has announced a demo for Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, as reported by VGC and Nintendo Life.
The playable slice will launch on October 1, 2026, covering the game's early stages. It will be available on all platforms the full game is targeting: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The download size is expected to be between 3 and 6 gigabytes.
Crucially, per Konami, any progress made in the demo will carry over to the main game. Players just need to use the same account and platform for both versions.
The full launch of Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is set for October 15. Konami initially suggested the Switch version might arrive later but has since confirmed a simultaneous October 15 release across all systems.
Developed with help from the teams behind Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia, the game stars Rose Belmont and is set in 1499. It's positioned as a 40th-anniversary celebration for the franchise.
