Cher Horowitz Is Back, As If! Clueless Sequel Series Greenlit At Paramount+
Alicia Silverstone is officially dusting off her yellow plaid for a return to Beverly Hills. Variety reports that Paramount+ has greenlit a sequel series to the 1995 teen classic "Clueless."
The project will see Silverstone reprise her iconic role as the matchmaking fashionista Cher Horowitz. The series was originally in development at Peacock but, per the trade, stalled there earlier this year.
Now, Paramount+ has picked up the baton, bringing Cher's unique brand of valley girl wisdom and high-school drama to its streaming platform. No word yet on whether other original cast members will join Silverstone for the update.
This marks a major win for fans who've been waiting decades for a proper follow-up. As if we needed another reason to subscribe.
