Chris Evans says Marvel pitched him a dozen times for Captain America return
Chris Evans has revealed that Marvel Studios was very persistent in trying to get him back into the Captain America suit. According to TheWrap, the actor says the studio sent him "at least a dozen pitches" for a potential return before he finally said yes.
Evans explained why he's now ready to make his first 'Avengers' appearance since his character's departure in 'Avengers: Endgame'. The specific project that sealed the deal is the upcoming Marvel film 'Doomsday'.
The star did not specify what any of the other proposed projects were, but made it clear Marvel was determined to bring Steve Rogers back to the big screen.
