Dragon Age Producer Says Don't Expect Another Game Anytime Soon
Dragon Age fans might want to steel themselves for a long wait, as a former key producer is sounding the alarm. Mark Darrah, a former producer for the fantasy RPG series, says he has little faith the franchise will return in the foreseeable future, according to Push Square.
Darrah reportedly stated, "I don’t know who at BioWare would pitch a Dragon Age." Per VGC, he also criticized the greenlighting process at publisher EA, claiming that pitches for existing intellectual property are often "ripped apart" by others.
His bleak outlook suggests the beloved series could be headed back into a deep dormancy, leaving its future seriously in doubt.
