Ex Jana Returns to Stir Trouble for Georgie and Mandy on 'First Marriage'
Georgie Cooper is getting an unwelcome blast from the past. TVLine reports that Jana Boggs, one of Georgie's major ex-girlfriends from 'Young Sheldon,' is coming to 'Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage.'
Ava Allan is reprising the role for a guest spot in Season 3, Episode 9, scheduled to air on December 10. A plot synopsis is being kept under wraps for now.
The casting news was teased by star Emily Osment, who plays Mandy. She posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram showing her character seated right next to Jana, captioning it, "Well THIS can't be good."
In 'Young Sheldon,' Jana was Georgie's most serious relationship before Mandy. Their nine-episode arc included a false pregnancy scare. The couple split after Georgie decided to quit high school, clearing the way for him to meet Mandy shortly after.
'Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage' airs Thursdays on CBS and streams the next day on Paramount+.
