Final Fantasy 14 will devour Switch 2 storage, says IGN
Square Enix's sprawling MMO is barreling onto Nintendo's new hardware next month, but players might need to clear their schedules and their storage. Per IGN, the Final Fantasy 14 port will allegedly take up a staggering chunk of the console's memory.
The report claims the install size will occupy nearly half of the Switch 2's built-in 256GB capacity. Eurogamer separately notes the port will arrive with the famously generous free trial intact, but confirms the overall file size is "absolutely massive."
Alongside the storage news, the Evercold expansion also got a fresh teaser trailer. The game's arrival on Switch 2 was one of the platform's more surprising announcements earlier this year.
