‘For All Mankind’ Star Says Final Season Nails Hopeful Ending
Mireille Enos says the team behind Apple TV+'s 'For All Mankind' felt the weight of ending their long-running series right. In an exclusive interview with Collider, the actress, who plays Celia Boyd, teased the show's upcoming conclusion. She described the writers as walking around heavy with the responsibility of finishing a project close to their hearts.
According to Enos, the creative team succeeded. She promises the finale delivers a satisfying and hopeful closure for characters audiences have followed for years. Per her comments, the ending manages to be magical and ambiguous while tying up the long arcs.
The sixth and final season of the alternate-history sci-fi drama is slated to premiere in 2027. Principal photography on the last installment has already wrapped, as previously confirmed by showrunners Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi to Collider.
Enos joined the series in its fifth season. Her comments come from an interview conducted at the Toronto International Film Festival, where she was promoting her new thriller series 'American Hostage'.
