Gayle Rankin calls Aemond-Alys-Alicent 'House of the Dragon' scene 'f---ed up'
The latest episode of 'House of the Dragon' featured a particularly intense, incestuous encounter involving Aemond, Alys Rivers, and Queen Alicent, and actress Gayle Rankin had some thoughts. She described the scene to Variety as 'f---ed up,' noting it was the first time her character was directly pulled into the Targaryen family's twisted drama.
Rankin also discussed a 'truly unbearable' family dinner sequence and teased some dragon egg plans for Alys. The actress previously portrayed Alys dealing with an Oedipus complex at Harrenhal, but this episode took the familial tension to a new level.
