Hoyoverse's Petit Planet Life Sim Confirmed for Switch 2 in 2027

Hoyoverse is expanding its universe to Nintendo's next console. According to IGN, the developer's upcoming free-to-play life simulator, Petit Planet, is slated for a Nintendo Switch 2 release in 2027.
The game is first arriving on computer and mobile devices this December. A special broadcast from the studio confirmed the 2027 date for the Nintendo version, as reported by Nintendo Life.
The title, described by IGN as blending elements of Animal Crossing with The Little Prince, lets players nurture their own tiny world. Features include customizing a home, meeting quirky alien neighbors, and playing mini-games across a starry sea setting.
Notably, Push Square highlights that the game is currently skipping PlayStation 5. This marks a shift for Hoyoverse, which has consistently released its major titles, like Genshin Impact, on Sony's platforms.
