Maggie Robertson would return to play Resident Evil's Lady Dimitrescu in a heartbeat
Maggie Robertson is ready for another round with her breakout character. The actor told IGN she would instantly say yes if Capcom asked her to reprise her role as the towering Lady Dimitrescu.
She described the character as her “firstborn,” stating the role in 2021's Resident Evil Village completely changed her life. It was her first video game job, which she booked after moving to LA and self-submitting for auditions without an agent.
Robertson said she had no idea what game or character she was trying out for due to secretive NDAs, and never predicted the viral fame that followed. Capcom heavily featured Lady Dimitrescu in all its marketing for the game.
Since then, her career has exploded with roles in titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 and Fortnite. She currently voices the villain Tasha in the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons game Warlock.
When asked if she'd return as the iconic vampire, her answer was emphatic. “Oh, of course!” she said. “A hundred times, yes. She's my firstborn. So anytime they call, I will say happy days.”
For now, her focus is on Warlock, where she enjoys playing Tasha's complex, self-serving nature. Capcom has not announced any plans to bring Lady Dimitrescu back.
