Marvel boss says new Black Panther was cast in a 'secret meeting'
Kevin Feige recently spilled some beans about the secretive casting for 'Black Panther 3'. Per Empire, he revealed that director Ryan Coogler met with actor David Jonsson six months ago, long before a formal search even began.
Feige told the outlet he 'got chills' during the meeting, where Coogler quickly identified Jonsson as his new leading man. Jonsson is set to play the son of T'Challa in the upcoming Marvel sequel.
Meanwhile, /Film points out that fans of Stephen King adaptations may already recognize Jonsson. The actor previously starred in one of the author's most acclaimed film adaptations, 'The Long Walk'.
