Marvel's Wolverine ending leaks online ahead of launch
Kotaku reports that the final weeks before Marvel's Wolverine's launch have been hit with a wave of spoilers.
Numerous clips of the PlayStation 5 exclusive have leaked online, including boss fights, unlockables, and the game's final moments and credits roll.
The leaks follow a rocky road for the game, which was first introduced to the public via a major data breach from the Rhysida ransomware collective in 2023. This latest wave appears to involve full copies of the game circulating, though it's unclear if they are from broken street dates, promotional copies, or digital theft.
Marvel's Wolverine is a level-by-level action game, a departure from Insomniac's open-world Spider-Man titles. The story follows Logan as he fights through enemies like the Reavers and Sentinels, with appearances from characters like Jean Grey and Sabretooth.
The studio's marketing director reportedly criticized the surge of online scrutiny, suggesting such a culture is bad for mental health, per Kotaku.
