Meghann Fahy to lead HBO's 'Trial of Louise Woodward' limited series
HBO is officially moving forward with a new limited series about a high-profile legal case. The network has greenlit "The Trial of Louise Woodward," a five-episode drama based on a true story.
Meghann Fahy is set to play the lead role in the series, according to reports from Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. Matthew Barry, known for "Industry," will serve as writer, showrunner, and executive producer.
Oscar-winning director Susanne Bier is attached to direct all episodes, as noted by both outlets. She and Barry will also executive produce the project.
