Mike Flanagan is bringing Stephen King's first horror story to the small screen. A new trailer for the 'Carrie' miniseries, which will stream on Prime Video, shows a modern retelling of the classic tale.
According to /Film, the series will stick to King's original novel ending, a departure from the famous Brian De Palma film. The eight-episode series is described as a bold and timely reimagining of the story of misfit Carrie White.
TVLine reports that all episodes will premiere on October 7, just in time for spooky season. The teaser trailer, shown at Comic-Con per JoBlo, promises a sinister and emotional take on the material.
