Neuromancer trailer jacks in, bringing Gibson's cyberpunk novel to Apple TV
Apple TV has finally pulled back the curtain on its long-awaited adaptation of William Gibson's landmark 1984 novel, 'Neuromancer'. The trailer debuted at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, per multiple reports.
The adaptation, which will be a series, stars Callum Turner as a cyberspace criminal on the run, according to coverage from TheWrap and Variety. The show is created by Graham Roland and JD Dillard, who also directed the pilot.
Polygon notes the series has a release date set for January 22, 2027. The first look arrives a full 42 years after the influential cyberpunk novel first hit shelves, as highlighted by Collider.
