Old Black Ops games sell 11 million copies on PlayStation, analysts say
The PlayStation ports of Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 are massive hits. According to GameSpot, the ports have sold more than 11 million combined copies, generating nearly half a billion dollars.
Analysts say the ports are among the best-selling games of the year, per IGN. Developer Iron Galaxy shadow-dropped the classic games on PS4 and PS5 back on July 9.
The ports feature the original campaigns, multiplayer, and Zombies modes, and are not graphical remakes.
