Original 'Chicago Fire' Star Joe Miñoso Exits After 15 Seasons
A major pillar of Firehouse 51 is hanging up his helmet. Joe Miñoso, who has played firefighter Joe Cruz since the very first episode, is leaving 'Chicago Fire', Variety reports.
The actor will exit during the NBC drama's upcoming 15th season. According to TVLine, Miñoso will appear in a handful of episodes to give his character a proper send-off.
His departure marks the end of an era for the long-running series, as Miñoso was one of the few remaining original cast members from its 2012 debut.
