Pokémon Pokopia's underwater DLC dives in next week alongside a free update
Get ready to get wet, trainers. Pokémon Pokopia is about to expand with its first major DLC, Bubbly Basin, arriving on August 5, per Nintendo Life. The update unlocks underwater gameplay, sending your Ditto diving to meet new water-type Pokémon.
A seven-minute trailer from Nintendo confirmed the launch date and gave a deep dive into the new mechanics, according to Eurogamer. The content is part of a larger expansion pass that will see more DLC and new towns arriving through 2027.
On top of the paid DLC, a free software update is landing next week. The Pokémon Company also teased a limited-time in-game event, 'Fetching Scales for Feebas,' set to run from August 13 to 28.
