Pokemon Unite shutting down in March 2027, per Nintendo

Pokemon Unite is heading for its final battle. Nintendo announced that the Pokemon-themed multiplayer online battle arena game will shut down completely on March 23, 2027, as reported by GameSpot.
The service will end just days after the planned Aeos Crown 2027 tournament wraps up. The game is available on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
Nintendo has already halted sales of the game's premium currency, Aeos Gems. Players can no longer purchase them.
The company thanked the players, or 'Trainers,' who have participated since the game launched. The shutdown will conclude nearly six years of service for the MOBA title.
