Resident Evil 2, 3 and 4 remakes land on Switch 2 in October
Capcom has confirmed the three modern Resident Evil remakes are heading to Nintendo's next console, according to a report from VGC. All three titles are scheduled to launch on the Switch 2 on October 16.
Pre-orders for the games are now live. The versions heading to the new platform are the Deluxe Edition of the 2019 Resident Evil 2 remake, the standard release of the 2020 Resident Evil 3 remake, and the Gold Edition of last year's Resident Evil 4 remake.
Per Capcom's description, the Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition includes extra cosmetic outfits for Leon and Claire, a special weapon, and an alternate soundtrack. The Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition bundles in the Separate Ways story expansion starring Ada Wong, along with additional costumes and gear.
The publisher's announcement line pitches the collection as a way to "experience the path leading to the latest installment in the series" and to enjoy the survival horror saga anywhere.
