Rings of Power Season 3 to Introduce Elrond's Twin Brother Elros
Another long-lost Tolkien character is headed to Amazon's fantasy series. Per Polygon, Season 3 of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will officially introduce Elros, the twin brother of Elrond.
Collider reports that actor Robert Aramayo, who plays Elrond, will also portray Elros. The character, who is half-elven but chose a mortal life, becomes the first king of the island kingdom of Númenor.
The show previously only referenced Elros with a tapestry in its first season. A newly released image depicts a flashback scene where Elros informs Elrond of his choice to live as a man.
The series is set to return in November 2026. The release plan will see four episodes debut on November 11, two more arrive a week later on the 18th, and the season conclude with its last two installments on November 25.
