Robert Eggers Debuts First Poster for 'Werwulf', His 'Darkest' Film Yet

Director Robert Eggers is diving back into the shadows with a new gothic horror film. The first teaser poster for 'Werwulf' has been released by Focus Features, per MovieWeb, giving us our first monstrous glimpse at the upcoming period piece.

JoBlo reports that Eggers himself has claimed this is the darkest script he has ever written, promising a grim plunge into a new nightmare. The poster's reveal follows the arrival of the film's trailer.

With the director of 'The Witch' and 'The Lighthouse' calling this his most brutal work, horror fans are officially on notice. 'Werwulf' is shaping up to be his most ferocious outing yet.
