Rockstar co-founder champions physical game releases if fans demand them
Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser is making a case for physical media in a digital age. According to IGN, Houser believes that "if people want" their games released on disc, then "companies should provide it."
The statement was reported by both IGN and VGC, with the latter noting Houser's extensive history as the lead writer on nearly every Grand Theft Auto title. While not commenting on any specific upcoming Rockstar releases, the co-founder's stance provides a clear argument for preserving the option for physical collectors.
