Samuel L. Jackson is taking command of the Oval Office from behind the wheel of a supercharged limousine. According to MovieWeb, the new trailer for 'The Beast' shows Jackson as a President forced into action when a militia attempts a coup.
With his Secret Service agent, played by Joel Kinnaman, injured, the President must drive the armored vehicle known as 'The Beast' and unlock its secret offensive capabilities. The movie is described as a 'Die Hard'-esque thriller set almost entirely inside the presidential limo.
Per the outlet, the footage promises a tongue-in-cheek, action-packed ride, with Jackson's character using a pulse weapon on insurgents and even giving his agent a lesson in effective profanity. Director Renny Harlin, who previously worked with Jackson on films like 'Deep Blue Sea', is at the helm.
