Star Trek: Starfleet Academy casts newcomer Ruaridh Aldington for Season 2
The Star Trek universe is adding a new face for the next term. According to Variety, newcomer Ruaridh Aldington has been cast as a series regular for Season 2 of 'Star Trek: Starfleet Academy'.
The announcement was made during the Star Trek 60th anniversary panel at San Diego Comic-Con. Aldington will play an alien cadet named Keats, who reportedly has a mysterious backstory.
An official tease suggests the character will be involved when the cadets 'make the risky decision to bring' something or someone into the fold, per the trade.
