Stephen King and Sam Raimi Finally Team Up for 'Desperation' Film

Horror heavyweights Stephen King and Sam Raimi are finally joining forces. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a movie adaptation of King's 1996 novel 'Desperation' is in development, with Raimi on board to produce.

Directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, the duo behind the upcoming 'Final Destination: Bloodlines', are in talks to helm the project for Searchlight Pictures, per multiple outlets.

MovieWeb notes this collaboration is a long time coming, with the two horror icons having a near-miss on a project over four decades ago.
