The first half of 2026 had viewers stuck in Hawkins and Pittsburgh, according to data from The Hollywood Reporter. The outlet reports that Netflix's 'Stranger Things' and Max's 'The Pitt' were the most streamed original series for the period.
On the library series side, the little blue heeler 'Bluey' continues to dominate the charts. For movies, the sequel to the animated hit, 'Zootopia 2,' led all other films.
It looks like a mix of nostalgia, gritty drama, and talking animals is what the streaming public craved.
